FCRR researchers explore the pandemic’s short- and long-term impacts on children’s reading skills
Dr. Sara Hart and Dr. Callie Little have received a $2.9 million grant from NICHD to conduct a five-year study to uncover the mechanisms through which COVID-19 has and will continue to have impacts on children’s reading skills.

The kiosks, stocked with grade-specific materials, were delivered in early August to 49 schools across the district.
The kiosks are an extension of READ UP, a research-to-practice partnership between FCRR and Leon County Schools.
