This project will address is the improvement of literacy outcomes for rural elementary school students across the Florida panhandle by improving teacher use of evidence-based instructional practices and strategies. The need to improve achievement outcomes for elementary students across the region is demonstrated by their performance on state assessments.

Partnership work in the first 18 months will include one Task 4 project, which will focus on the pipeline provided by Hinds Community College (a two-year institution) and Tougaloo College (a four-year institution)

The Region 7 Comprehensive Center (R7CC) will support state education agency (SEA) leaders to share and problem-solve with each other about the identification, implementation, and monitoring of evidence-based and promising practices to address pandemic learning loss, including through the implementation of state ARP ESSER plans.
