We are pleased to announce the Community Engaged Research Partnership Award! The award program is intended to both recognize and support mid-career and senior faculty at FSU who are committed to collaborating with community partners to produce research that is rigorous, relevant, and impactful. Applicants with a research focus and interest in creating and sustaining collaborative research-focused partnerships are strongly encouraged to apply.

FCRR Literacy Kiosk

FSU’s Center For Reading Research Provides Literacy Kiosks to Local Schools


Parents and students in Leon County will find new resources awaiting them in local schools when they return this fall, thanks to new literacy resource kiosks provided by the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR). The kiosks, stocked with grade-specific materials, were delivered in early August to 49 schools across the district.

The kiosks are an extension of READ UP, a research-to-practice partnership between FCRR and Leon County Schools.

As practitioners focused on the immediate issues of health and safety, as well as the challenges of remote learning, FCRR mobilized to tackle the learning loss the pandemic would inevitably cause.
