QUESTION 1: Does your site have an implementation team for the tutoring program?

Effective implementation of evidence-based reading programs and practices is an ongoing process that requires a team of people. The team should consider state guidance and be made up of a diverse group of individuals, such as district administrators and literacy supervisors, and at the school level, an administrator, reading coach and teachers that are knowledgeable in reading instruction and reading interventions. The team should work together to identify the roles and responsibilities in implementing the tutoring program at their school sites. Roles include identifying students that meet the criteria for tutoring, recruiting, and training tutors, scheduling of tutoring sessions and progress monitoring to measure growth of students reading skills.
