FCRR Associate Director Richard Wagner Selected as AERA Fellow

Dr. Richard K. Wagner, the Robert O. Lawton Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Associate Director of the Florida Center for Reading Research at Florida State University, has been selected as a 2015 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Fellow. Wagner is one of 23 honored scholars selected this year through peer nominations to the AERA Fellows Committee and approved by the AERA Council. He will be inducted at the AERA 2015 Annual Meeting on Friday, April 17, 2015 in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Wagner is the Principal Investigator of the Florida Learning Disabilities Research Center. He currently oversees six research projects designed to broaden the scientific and practical understanding of learning disabilities. His major area of research interest is dyslexia and the normal acquisition of reading.

Dr. Wagner currently holds the W. Russell & Eugenia Morcom Chair. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1985.
