Marcy Wyatt

Marcy has been with FSU since 1999 and FCRR since it was established in 2002 managing several longitudinal studies. She currently oversees Dr. Sonia Cabell’s $3.3 million Institute of Education Sciences grant Teaching Together: The Added Value of Tiered School Plus Home Interventions for Young Children At-Risk for Language Difficulties which studies the efficacy of the Teaching Together program for pre-kindergarten children who are at risk of academic difficulties due to limited oral language skills. This project focuses on oral language supports in both the classroom and home settings. She believes the goals of reading research should be to make a difference in a child’s early years of learning to read, which will give them the tools to be successful in life.
