Shannon Hall-Mills, Assistant Professor of Communication Science and Disorders at Florida State University, is Director of the SPEAR Lab (School-age Practices, Effectiveness, and Research). She is a speech-language pathologist who studies assessment and intervention practices and policies for children and adolescents with spoken and/or written language and learning difficulties within the context of general and special education.
